From November 24 to 30, 2024, The Third Medical Exchange and Training Program for Health Professionals from Bangladesh was successfully held by Kunming Medical University. 20 medical staff from the Dhaka Medical College and Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College participated the 1-week exchange and training in Kunming.

Kunming Medical University meticulously and targetedly designed a series of lectures, including Primary Health Care System, System of Chinese Public Health Services, Tropical Infectious Diseases and Hospital Infection Control, Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases, Prevention and Treatment of Common Digestive System Diseases, Emergency Trauma Treatment and Hospital Management. A various of field visits and exchanges are also significant parts of the program, which helps the Bangladeshi participants to experience Yunnan’s achievements in modernization and to develop an in-depth understanding of Yunnan Province. According to the participants, this program is diverse in format, and rice and targeted in content. It is not only instructive and beneficial to their future medical work, but it lays a solid foundation for further cooperation between two sides.
