In order to actively integrate and serve the Belt and Road Initiative and construction of radiation center which Yunnan province faces South Asia and Southeast Asia, promoting exchange between medical universities and institutions in China and in South and Southeast Asian countries,buildinga regional multilateral cooperation platform Kunming Medical University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Co-sponsored the“South and Southeast Asia Medical Education and Service Alliance”initiative, it has received positive response from universities and medical institutions in relevant countries in the region.The alliance is the first regional and international cooperation platform that integrates medical education and medical and health cooperation, it will make positive contributions to promote the quality of regional higher medical education and healthe services.
