Dear Alliance Members,

To build an education platform for international exchange and cooperation and promote communication, exchange, and mutual learning between China (Yunnan) and South and Southeast Asian countries. Yunnan Provincial Department of Education has been hosting Kunming Forum on Education Cooperation in South & Southeast Asia since 2017. 

This year, the 6^th Kunming Forum on Education Cooperation in Southand Southeast Asia will beon December 15, 2023. Theme of this forum is "Working Together for Common Development", and the Forum Schedule includes a main forum, six parallel sub-forums, and an education exhibition. Topics of the Forum cover South and Southeast Asian University Presidents Forum, Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education, Overseas Education, and China (Yunnan)-Malaysia Higher Education Dialogue, 2023 Maritime Silk Road International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application—International Cooperation Seminar on Metallurgy and Energy, South and Southeast Asian University Network Forum on International Education Cooperation & Dialogue on China-South Asia Higher Education, The 5^th Sino-Vietnam Presidents Forum of Universities in Red River Basin.

Now the secretariat of the SSAMESA forwards the invitation letter of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education to the members of the alliance, and sincerely invite the leaders and experts from member universities to attend the forum. Participants will bear their international airfares, and the organizers of the forum will bear participants’ expenses of accommodation, food and local transportation in Kunming.
