The "2025 International Training Course on Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine Diagnostic Techniques for Developing Countries", sponsored by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and organized by Shanxi Medical University and The First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, will be held in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China (lasting for 15 days). Now, it is open for enrollment to developing countries around the world.
Training Objectives
a) To understand the latest advancements and development prospects of cardiac nuclear medicine.
b) To understand basic knowledge of cardiac nuclear medicine and related cardiac imaging.
c) To learn the principles, radiopharmaceuticals, examination
methods, and clinical applications of myocardial perfusion imaging.
d) To standardize the diagnosis and treatment process of coronary heart disease and promote the rational clinical application of radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging.
e) To master myocardial metabolic imaging, myocardial infarction imaging, and coronary microvascular blood flow quantitative analysis.
f) To explore the pathway from scientific research to clinical practice of radionuclide myocardial imaging.
g) To share China's development achievements and practical experience in the field of cardiac nuclear medicine.
I. Enrollment Scope and Quota
20 professionals from developing countries in Asia, including Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, the DPRK, Vietnam, the Philippines, etc. The eligible candidates should be clinical physicians specializing in cardiovascular diseases, nuclear medicine physicians, medical technicians, and imaging technologists from related disciplines.

Ⅲ. Training Methods
The training course will adopt a comprehensive teaching approach combining didactic lectures, hands-on clinical training, departmental visits, case-based discussions of typical cases, case acquisition, and medical report documentation.

Ⅴ. Expenses
During the training period, expenses including textbooks, materials, internship and site visits,local transportation, accommodation,meals and personal accident insurance will be fully covered by the training program
in accordance with the established training plan. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip travel costs.
Participants will receive a daily living allowance of 300yuan.
Ⅵ. Enrollment Requirements
1. Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and be a professional working in cardiovascular medicine, nuclear medicine, or related imaging disciplines.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in English listening and writing skills, and maintain good health.
